Hey, Heyy

K has declared she is in her "fat phase". She hasn't gone running or to the gym in about three weeks, and she eats junk all the time. She is pretty frugal, so I don't know why she doesn't seem to care that she is wasting her money on a gym membership that is not being used, but whatever. It's not my body. We went shopping yesterday, and she bought a pair of jeans in a larger size so she can accommodate her increased waist line.

So she complains about this, but today when we went grocery shopping, she got chocolate chip cookie dough and Sara Lee fudge rolls, in addition to a bunch of other stuff. And then tonight for dinner she made a big plate of barbecued ribs and cheesy rice, baked the cookies and had one, and when I left her last for the evening, she was watching Desperate Housewives and snacking on caprese salad (balls of mozzarella cheese, basil leaves, and grape tomatoes in olive oil) and Ritz crackers. At 9:30 at night. I want to just tell her that she is not doing herself any favors by eating all this crap, but again, it's not my body. Do unto others as you want done unto you. So if I don't want her to comment on my non-eating, I need to not comment on her eating. I don't really think it will work like that, but one can hope!

Other than that tidbit, I don't really have anything interesting to say. I won't have to eat dinner tomorrow, because K has a softball game at 5:30. Meaning she won't be around to see that I haven't made anything to eat. And T is oblivious to what I do and do not eat; she isn't home much anyway, so that is no big deal. Yay! I am happy about not having to stress about what to make myself, especially since I have to eat lunch tomorrow.

Love you, Skinnies!

  4. Reminds me of the girl in my cube. It will hit her eventually that she's eating like a pig! It definitely hit me and motivated me to make some changes.

And I agree with throughraindrops... this is how I became bulimic.
