Home-Made? No, Thanks.

Wow, 72 followers! I can't believe I am that interesting. Hello, everyone!

So today, I FINALLY put away all my clothes and everything that were still in their duffel bags from coming home. My floor is finally visible, and I can walk around without fear of tripping over a bag. I also tackled two bags full of old receipts and bank statements, and various odds and ends from my purses that all got thrown together. They have been sitting in a corner of my room for about six months, mocking me, and I finally got myself together to clear that all out. It felt so good to declutter, and it was an awesome way to avoid even thinking about food for a solid four hours. My room looks so much better now!

I also managed to refuse home-made bread and home-made warm apple-cranberry crumble with vanilla ice cream, all made by my roomie T. It wasn't all that difficult, either, which I was happy about. I legitimately didn't want any of it. I feel my control coming back stronger than ever. It's amazing! I would rather not eat than be thinking of the next thing I can eat all the time, and it feels so good. I feel so powerful when I am rocking the restricting. I am definitely going to make my goals.

Speaking of which, I set up mini goals for myself using Google calendar. I don't know why I didn't do this before, because just saying that I want to lose 20-25 lbs. sounds like a lot, but when broken down into easily attainable weekly goals (4 lbs. one week, 3 lbs. the next, etc.) it makes it seem much easier.

Tomorrow is another one of my friends birthdays, and she wants to go to a Japanese restaurant. I suppose if I had to go out to eat anywhere, Japanese would be the best. Sushi is really healthy, and I get the sashimi, which is a piece of fish draped over a small pat of rice, so it is less calories per piece than a sushi roll. I looked up calorie counts of sashimi, and most are around 40-50 calories a piece, so if I get a sashimi appetizer for my meal, I should be pretty good calorie-wise. Usually the appetizer size has about 7-8 pieces of sashimi on it. And the wasabi will amp up my metabolism, with how hot it is! All in all, not too horrible, and I will make sure to keep everything else I eat tomorrow really low-cal and small to make up for it.

Well, I am off to bed for my beauty sleep!

Love you, Skinnies!

You're right, matters of the heart are never simple. And first loves always have some kind of power over us.

Just stay strong and keep going. You're doing amazing.
