I have started keeping a food log in Excel so I can track exactly what I am eating. I have never been one to lie to myself about what I am eating, but I figured maybe spelling it out in a spreadsheet might help me understand why I am not losing any weight when I am eating so little as I think I am. And it only proved to me that I am eating as little as I think I am, and it is pretty balanced, with a mix of lean proteins, fruits, veggies, and fat-free dairy (for the calcium). So, I am just going to wait it out. I know I am going to lose weight, and it has to be soon, because I can't maintain for much longer on a diet where my highest calorie days are chilling at around 800 cals. My lowest days are around 500 calories, and I bounce around between those highs and lows, so I mix it up every day, eating a little more one day, and a little less the next.
Tomorrow my friend and her husband are having a party to celebrate their marriage over the summer. It should be fun, since all my friends are going to be there. I have no idea what kind of food will be served, but I do know that there are going to be many desserts, especially cupcakes, because a few of my friends are making cupcakes today to bring tomorrow. However, guess who can't have any??? Me! That's who! Muah-ha-ha-ha-ha. I love this gluten allergy :) It makes it way too easy, and no one can even say anything about it, because it's a medical issue, not a diet.
I found out yesterday that both of my roommates are going away next weekend for Labor Day weekend, which leaves the apartment all to me, myself, and I, from Friday at noon through Monday late afternoon. I am so excited about this! I am trying to decide on whether I want to do a fast for some of those days, or just restrict even more than I normally do. I am the most excited about not having to worry about making a show of normal eating around them! I will be able to eat (or not eat!) what I want, when I want it. It's the best :)
I bought a sweater and a tank top from the Gap yesterday, size XS (but Gap runs big, I think). Then today I got a catalog from Boden and I already ordered three things from there, a cardigan, a three-quarter length sleeve sweater, and a henley shirt. I love new clothes! The bad part is now I must wait for them to be shipped here. I hate the waiting!
Anyway, that's about it on my end. I hope everyone is having a great day!
Love you, Skinnies!

I'm sure you'll loose weight with that low calorie intake!! Just wait a little more ..
ReplyDeleteOh,I love new clothes too!! I like to shop them online but always have problems with the size, as I don't like my clothes to be very tight on me.
Hm, as for my day, I can't say I'm at my best but a new post is coming :)
I'm sure you'll lose more weight. I'm just surprised you haven't already! I'm super jealous of your new clothes... I wish I had some. Have fun on your weekend alone!
ReplyDeleteA weekend alone sounds amazing :)
ReplyDeleteI keep a food log and if you can be honest with yourself it's really good. you're gonna lose weight real soon, it's bound to happen given your intake.
I LOVE new clothes!!!!
Xxx
I just read you blog from the beginning...
ReplyDeleteKeeping a good log is a good idea. I basically know the calorie counts of hundreds of foods, but I still log everything every day just to make sure I'm really on track.
You'll have to wait a little longer. Something's gotta give. Or maybe your metabolism's used to it...ever consider switching it up with some SUPER low days and maybe one planned binge/"full" meal? Then jump back into 500-800 cals again...who knows, it may just be the nudge you need to get you losing again!
ReplyDeleteOh, and green chucks=love. My sister is totally jealous which makes it all the more awesome. :) they were actually meant to be my 130 lb goal but I jumped the gun. Maybe I'll just get a different color once I reach that goal...gray anyone? Yum.
Hope your weekend is fab! Have fun at the party!
NO CUPCAKES FOR YOU ;)
