Cobbler Wobbler

My exams went okay, I think. It definitely could have been worse. The liver section was by far the worst, as I was expecting. Otherwise, the rest of it went pretty well. If I could wipe out the liver section from memory, I would be cheering about the exams! Luckily(?), everyone else feels the same way I do, so if we all did poorly on the liver section, they will have to curve the grades up. They had to do it last year, because no one knew what she (the clinician/liver goddess) was asking for on the questions. So we'll see.

I had a bagel this morning fro brain function and energy, and an iced mochaccino with skim milk. Then this afternoon I had a glass of light soymilk. I was doing really well, and feeling nice and hungry, when our friend J came over to watch House, and she had a recipe and all the ingredients to make peach cobbler with homemade whipped cream. Oh yes, let us not forget that. Well, I was only going to have a spoonful to be polite, but then she served all of us! I told her I could do it myself, but she was adamant in serving T, K, and I, because she "always comes over and eats your guys' food, so I wanted to do something nice for all of you!" Ugh, how could I compete with that?!?! So not only did I not have say in what the ingredients were, I got absolutely no say in how much I got in my bowl! NO CONTROL. WHATSOEVER. My worse nightmare. She gave everyone these huge portions, filling a normal sized cereal bowl. Who really needs to eat that much? And then, K, J, and T all had second helpings!! I ate about half of what I was given, which was still three times what I wanted to eat, and put the rest in Tupperware, because I was "too full, but it's so good so I will finish it tomorrow!" First chance I get, that other half is going in the garbage.

I have been experiencing the biggest urge to buy a bunch of make-up today. I might have to make a Sephora trip once school is over for the summer ;)

A bit of thinspo. Alessandra. Love her :) Look at that teeny butt! She is perfect.

Love you, Skinnies!

  2. Jeez, you did so well! I'd have inhaled the whole thing and hated myself immensely afterwards, like I always do! I need to get me some of that control. :)

And you deserve a little makeup treat, you did good on your exams, and you're not spending that money on food. Well done!

  3. Blech, do you realize you said "liver" 4 times? No wonder you are so skinny... I would starve if I had to study that lovely stuff too. ;)
Congrats on your admirable self control with the cobbler. Food pushers!

  8. Ugh, I hate peach cobbler. I adore fresh peaches--it just ruins them when you bake them up. (Same with apples and berries. Not a fan of cooked fruits.)

Your willpower is awesome! Go you!
