Feels Like Forever

Sorry I've taken a few days between posting. I was reading everyone's blogs, though! I just didn't have anything really interesting to say, and we have some big exams coming up on Monday, so I've also been busy with studying for those.

I think today will be a short post, because I still don't have much to talk about, but I felt like I needed to give you guys something to read!

K and I went to the mall today for a destressor shopping trip :) Always the best kind. Especially because I didn't need anything. I got a Vera Bradley "tech case", basically an oversized coin purse, to hold my cell phone and iPod so they don't get lost at the bottom of my bag. It's really pretty! I got Les Miserables to read once I am done with Anna Karenina. And the most exciting thing that occurred on the shopping trip was a stop at Victoria's Secret, where I tried on one of those push-up bras with the mega-padding that promise to make you look two cup sizes bigger! Let me tell you, they actually work, but when I put on my shirt, it looked so fake. I am an A cup, and normally when women have big boobs, not only are they full in front, they are full on the sides too. Well, this bra pushed up my little boobalas so high and they just stuck out in front really far, but there was nothing to fill in the silhouette on the sides. So it looked really weird. I had awesome cleavage for about five minutes, though ;) I ended up buying a cute little wireless demi bra that is white with little pink polka dots.

K bought an Arby's bacon cheddar roastburger with curly fries while we were at the mall. I bought no food :) And I wasn't really hungry the rest of the day, either. So I just didn't eat. I had some strawberries at around 3 o'clock this afternoon, but I just wasn't hungry when "dinner time" rolled around. K made pasta with garlic bread and two big slices of mozzarella cheese for herself. I don't know how she was hungry after eating that Arby's food at the mall! K offered me some of her pasta, but I just said maybe later and took a shower instead. I just literally was not hungry. Good, but I do like feeling the pains of hunger, letting me know that I am doing well. Ah well.

Oh, also, I had a dream last night I was on a train with my cousin, and we got Wendy's burgers and Coca Cola to eat. I was eating my burger and drinking my Coke, and it tasted so real! Then when I woke up, I first thought to myself, Man, why did I eat that?? I'm not going to be able to eat anything today to make up for that! And then I realized it was only a dream, and laughed. Dreams like these mean I am doing well, because my body is subconsciously trying to tell me to eat more because it's not getting enough calories.

Also, I think it was P.D. who asked me this, but correct me if I'm wrong. She asked how I deal with the low energy from eating so little. Well, I don't exercise much. And by "much", I mean hardly at all. I might do some sit-ups and jumping jacks here and there, but I just usually don't do anything. I feel like a lazy bum saying that, but oh well. It allows me to get through the day on minimal calories, and if I were adding exercise into the mix, I would have to eat more to have the energy. I just physically cannot bring myself to put more food into my mouth. It is literally an epic battle in my head every time I even consider eating something. I do get very sluggish sometimes, and shaky and faint, so in those cases, I pull out my stash of Sour Patch Kids for a quick glucose hit, and it works pretty well. I also usually have a little juice box of either fruit juice or sweetened iced tea in my bag for such purposes as well. You know, those times when you feel like you just need to sit down because the world is spinning, but you need to continue walking down the hallway anyway? Yeah, those times. It works well for me, but if you're prone to binging on candy, the Sour Patch Kids might not be such a good idea.

My grandma is still sick with the bacterial infection in her lungs. She still sounds really bad. My mom said we just have to give it time for the antibiotics to work. I just hope her body is up for the challenge. Thank you all so much for your continued support in this. It really means a lot to me :)

Well, I think I am going to go to bed now, because I have to help out tomorrow at a bike race fundraiser we are putting on at the vet school. That means getting up early!

Love you, Skinnies!

P.S. - Okay, so not so much a short post. I guess I had more to say than I thought LOL!

shopping is always relaxing if you have the time to enjoy it. I love going around and trying on all sort of things and of course lingerie is the best!

It's good that you can actually focus on your exams, because I'm more concerned about ana than biology lately.. I'm having a test at about 45min and here I am commenting on your post.. :/

  9. heyy i totally JUST saw the makeup comment (i hate that blogger doesn't let u know when you get a comment)

anywho i like MAC but their also expensive.. my favorite crease blending brush is 217 from mac the white bristel one.
for applying on the lid, you only need any flat brush just be sure it's soft so you don't hurt yourself :D

highlight brushes i recomend a big fluffy brush .. i use different ones uhm i have one from the makeup store that's a big flat brush, then a coastalscents.com brush that's a badger brush just big and fluffy, sometimes i use any clean blending brush like CEE that i got from my local grocery/makeup/clothing store (the store is icelandic)

just make sure you clean your brushes, i like baby shampoo and lay them flat on the table to dry :D yous hould be fine then

let me know if there is anything else
