Sunshine Awards

Salix from Delicate Salix gave me another Sunshine Award! You'll all remember that I had given all five of my previous awards to Paige, so I am going to use this opportunity to give five shout-outs to some other Bloggers I love! And don't get me wrong, I love all of you, and I wish I could give awards to all of you :) Also, I know the five of you who I am giving the award to most likely already got a Sunshine Award the first time around, so don't worry about awarding it again if you don't feel like it!
Rules of this blog award:
1. post this logo within blog post.
2. pass award on to 5 fellow bloggers.
3. link to nominees within your post.
4. let the nominees know they've received an award by commenting on their blog.
5. share the love! link the person from whom received the sunshine award.

First, to Becca. She is such a bright light, and she is so beautiful! I admire her strength in moving somewhere where she basically knows no one, and in supporting her husband who will soon be taking a tour of duty to defend our country. She is one of my texting buddies, and I don't know what I would do without her!

To rain. She always leaves me the loveliest comments, and always makes me laugh with the things she comes up with! Put my scale on my dresser for a flat surface! I still can't get over that :)

To embre. She is so strong, and she is a great mom! She is so close to reaching her goal weight, and I can't wait until she does! She is tiny already, and I can't even imagine how amazing she will look when she finally gets there :)

To P.D. Another spectacular mom here :) Her daughter is the cutest little button, and she would do anything for her daughter! She has the most entertaining and deep posts. Every day is something new, and I always look forward to reading a new post by P.D.!

And finally, to Z. She is an opera singer, and she is working towards being the most beautiful singer there ever was! I know she will reach her goal, and she will be singing all over the world someday :)

I apologize to the bunches of you who I didn't give an award to. Trust me, I wanted to!

I am still super worried about my grandma. I talked with my mom today, and she told me that my grandma just needs our support in trying to fight off this infection, and that she will get through it. She told me that she would let me know if things took a turn for the worst. I will pick up everything and drive the eight hours to my grandparents if my grandma needs me, even though I will miss a bunch of classes. Family is more important than vet school. I just hope it doesn't come to that :(

I didn't have much of an appetite today. I could only manage half of my yogurt, a little over half my tomato/hummus sandwich, and a Cadbury Creme egg for dinner. Nothing else sounded good, and I needed some sugar. I wish I could say it tasted good, but it just kind of tasted blah, like everything else I ate today. I also wish that the reason for my loss of appetite was for a happy reason, so I could be excited about it. I would rather be having to pry my fingers away from a huge plate of fettuccine alfredo right now than not have an appetite because I am stressed about my sick grandmother.

I am trying to stay upbeat, though, because if I give into this stress and depression, nothing good will come of it. I need to be happy and strong for my grandma. Help me be strong, girls.

Love you, Skinnies.

  5. I know it's late, but thank you, love, for the Sunshine Award. :)

I'll be keeping your grandmother in my thoughts, and sending all sorts of positive energy her way. It has the power to create change, you know. ;)

I wanted to ask you...considering your very low intake daily, similar to mine as of late... Do you not feel weak, and often? It gets to me so badly now that I'm beginning to doubt my resolve, not that I can't continue, but SHOULD I? You know, because I have to LIVE...if not for myself, then for my daughter.

Just wondering. Much love to you...
